Meet UsHow We Became YVR Prep
YVR Prep started the way a lot of good ideas do: people with different skills, overlapping problems, and not enough spare time. Jason was running a growing co-working space.
Ryan and Josh were chefs with nearly 40 years of combined kitchen experience and a food idea that needed, unsurprisingly, a kitchen. Add new parenthood into the mix and suddenly, efficiency mattered a lot more. We connected the dots and realized Vancouver needed a shared kitchen that actually worked for the people using it.
So we built one. Hands-on, from layout to equipment to workflow, based on what we wished existed when we were starting out.
